Creative Coaching and Consultations

Are you a creator? So am I. So believe me when I say: I understand EXACTLY how hard this is. Taking an idea from inception to publish is an act of courage and determination, that leaves the world a better and more beautiful place. As your creative coach, I want to help you bring that idea to fruition.

 

Through a series of consultation sessions, I'll help you with:

• Brainstorming! Generating ideas can be hard. So is getting stuck in the middle of your story. Let's work through it together, and get the ball rolling so you can create your next great work!

• Staying motivated! Is Life sitting on top of a big brick wall of Writer's Block and pelting you with lemons? Are you feeling burnt out? Dragging through that Act Two slump? Deep breath. We've all been there. Sometimes Life hits you hard. Let's talk through the fear, the self-doubt, the frustration. There's a reason you got into this project, let's find ways to keep it fun and engaging through to the finish line!

• Staying accountable! Everybody has a wish. I want you to dream BIG and set goals -- and stick to them. Let's set up some check-ins, and make sure you stay on track and stay consistent, so that you can take those dreams and make them realities!

• Advice and Writing tips! Need an extra set of eyes on your work? Or are you in need of a little technical help with what makes a character, a story arc, a moment really work and click into place? Let's sit down together and go over the story, and make sure your message and your voice come shining through!

Jordan Cobb graduated from New York University with a BFA in Acting (Experimental theatre, Classical theatre, Film/VO) and a minor in Creative Writing (playwriting, screenwriting, creative writing). She has been writing for twelve years, and is the creator and producer of Here Be Dragons, Janus Descending, and Primordial Deep.

Consultations can be held in person (if you are local to New York City), over the phone, Skype, Discord, or your choice of instant messenger.

Initial Consultation

Let's sit down together and talk about what you're looking for in a creative coach. We'll go over your project, your expectations, what you'll need from me, so we can come up with a plan to help you get past your writer's block, to set achievable goals, or bring your idea to life. Let's work together and get you where you want to be.

• Up to 30 minutes --- FREE!

• 30 minutes to 1 hour --- $25.00

• Over 1 hour --- $40.00

Weekly Consults

Once a week scheduled consultations. Ideal for creatives with busy work schedules, and/or are just looking for someone to give them the occasional nudge.

• Up to 45 minutes  --- $15.00 per week

• 45 minutes or more  --- $25.00 per week

Bi-Weekly Consults

Twice a week consultations. Ideal for creatives who want a balance of freedom and accountability with their work, and/or are early in their creative process or journey and would like somebody to walk with.

• Up to 45 minutes  --- $40.00 per week

• 45 minutes or more  --- $60.00 per week

The Daily Deluxe Package

Daily consultations (ONLY available via Discord and instant message). Ideal for creatives who prefer a more hands on approach, and/or work best with someone to regularly bounce ideas off of.

The "Office Hours" Special

Has something arisen out of the blue? Never fear! Help is here! I'm available for 15-30 minute scheduled OR unscheduled sessions on Tuesdays from 5pm-8pm, to help you work out whatever's on your mind (ONLY available via Discord and instant message).
